2014 Projects completed/started/waiting
 Below are projects that the museum has identified as being started in the calendar year of 2014. We have a fair number of projects that need to be done but monetary and other resources only allow the following for this year.

Soo caboose #282. Painting will be begin 8/15 using special UV paint to control fading. Replacement of the roof covering has started, it is projected to take a few weeks due to wood issues. The south side of the caboose is done, both ends were touched up to remove the yellow paint. 9/24 the roof is 99% done.

  
Northern Pacific refrigerator car #92015, touch up was done on the paint, also all the black metal work was repainted.

        
NP 14303 box car being painted and the first coat was finished on July 2nd.


Replace the siding. The siding project has started. The east end is done, and a large majority of the north side is complete. We hope to finish the west end also this year. The siding project has been completed on all but the south side.


Build track between the depot and the speeder shacks. Fill dirt has been added and the ties laid. And the track should be here by the end of July. This project should be complete by Railroad Days.

Applied rust inhibater and applied a coat of black paint to the outside of the ex Soo coaling bucket from Harvey, ND.


Repaired and painted our portable ice chest.


Applied rust inhibater and applied a coat of black paint to the outside of the ex NP generator. The generator will receive its two tone green paint in the spring of 2015.

Soo tank car 22511 getting a partial paint job. Our painter did not have enough time to finish this year, but should be done with first coat in the spring of 2015.
